Good race even with the challenging weather. Last week was the original race date but icy conditions forced a rescheduling. This week we had stormy conditions that mostly held off until the later part of the run for the 20K runners. Most participants have come to learn that this is an unpredictable time of year for racing and accept that it’s just part of the sport. The 5K course is an out and back, mostly flat with a few grades. The 20K is on the backroads that wind and roll. Both on paved road. The 20K is a challenge but certainly reasonable for any runner wanting to do longer distance races. The winds and rain added to the complexity of the race, not exactly PR conditions for most of the racers today, but alas, we shall toe the line again.  Happy running! ~trvw
