Anyone with any kind of arthritis can tell you the pain is no joke. It flares up without warning, might last for days, and sidelines us from doing the activities we enjoy. Seeing my dog experience this is difficult. The exasperated look in his eyes when he approaches the stairs hurts my heart. Making accommodations is a given but knowing I can’t make it go away for good is hard. It’s frustrating to not be able to explain what is happening to his little body but then again, I am aware and it’s no easier when the achy days take over. Hopefully, good company and a comfy place to rest will be healing to us both.
