2mile/12 mile/2 mile Sprint Duathlon: Individual or Two Person Team

5K Run/Walk is an out and back.

This is a unique opportunity to get to participate in a sprint duathlon as an individual or team within close proximities of the Springfield area. Rogersville is about 15 minutes east of Springfield. While my experience has only been with the 5K, participants return every year.

The 5K foot race is a fast, out and back on the backroads of Rogersville. Since the event takes place the second week of October, it’s difficult to know what to expect from the cantankerous Ozarks weather. Having the shelter of the middle school right at the starting line is a treat.

Close parking, clean restrooms, easy warm up area, super cause, and a kind crew make for an event that’s well worth the affordable entry fee. Hope it continues to hold a spot on the race calendar. Happy running! ~trvw
