Santa suits everywhere! Over 400 participants signed up to run 3.1 miles to support our local running store and charity. The race was one loop that started behind the Fleet Feet Springfield store and continued through the south side neighborhoods. There were a few gentle hills and the brisk cold air made the lungs work hard! It was nice to have hot chocolate and cookies available at the finish line. Christmas movie trivia was a fun way to get prizes. Massages by BodyOne Wellness were fantastic! This was a fun way to stay fit in the winter months and celebrate the season of giving. Looking forward to seeing if there will be another costume Christmas race at FFS next year. The FITCAT crew was glad to be there and hopes to participate again next time. Happy running! ~trvw
